Unplugged awesomeness

If there’s one thing I really love, its when clients do an unplugged wedding. Instead of everyone on their phone at a wedding being ridiculous, an unplugged wedding encourages everyone to pretend its 2005 and actually be in the moment, enjoying their friend’s wedding, smiling and feeling blessed. Thomas & Priscilla did an unplugged wedding, had the officiant announce it right before it started, & beautifully, all their guests listened! No grandmother with her ipad standing in the middle of the aisle, no snapchat addict with her mouth open taking photos- just amazing guests, all looking at Thomas and Priscilla like they should be doing. Ahhh, so good! “I love it when a plan comes together!” – GP

Wedgewood Weddings, San Clemente

Wedgewood in San Clemente is one of my favorite venues- all inclusive, staff is top notch & its always a fun production. For the braver brides, the beach is a 4 min drive, so we all hopped in my car & got some amazing shots for 30 minutes. What a great day.

Pasadena City Hall

I love make up shots

Walt Disney Concert Hall

I’m a big fan of this place. I always get amazing shots there. Clients wanted a lot of couple shots, so we decided to do a 1st look about 3 hours before the ceremony at St. Vincent’s and ran around Walt Disney Concert Hall. And since we did bridal party shots (9 people on each side) there & family shots at the church, we had over an hour for couple shots.

David & Jasmine Disney Engagement Shoot

Family shoot- Huntington Beach Library

E Session- Northwest Open Space

Its a pretty unique place & shot at the right time, looks magical. The first time I shot there, this place had those knee-high weeds that look great in photos. They must have just cut everything a week before I shot there. I still love how this turned out tho.

Andrea- Maternity shoot

Andrea was 8 months pregnant & wanted maternity shots. I’ve seen enough of the hand making a heart on the belly bump photos in my life & wanted to give her something different.
